I am always into dabbling in new photo techniques, even if they are not my style. While at the coast with Hazel, I took some portraits and some landscape photos with the idea of combining them in this fake double-exposure way that I had seen before. It came out cool, but I was very in my head about it being trite or cliche or over-done, and I posted some snarky caption with it.

She told me to knock it off and that it looked neat, and if people enjoy it, then just shut up and go with it and stop worrying about it.

She was right.
